Winter Wonders: Geology with Devin Floyd, Log Decomposition Critters with Courtney McLaughlin

Each Saturday this month, we are hosting a special event designed for the whole family. We’ve extended our hours till after dark, so you’ll be able to enjoy our new solar light display and the model train all decked out for the holiday season!

This Saturday, experts Devin Floyd and Courtney McLaughlin will be joining us to explore some of winter’s most interesting natural phenomena. We’ll see the deep past exposed through the different rock types on the Quarry Gardens property, and we’ll dig through a rotting log to see what insects are at home there in wintertime.

Tickets are available for purchase below. We are also encouraging donations to the Quarry Gardens Foundation, which will be eligible for our ongoing $100,000 matching funds campaign. Visit our Donate page to learn more and donate.
