I AM…
curious, passionate, thoughtful, exploring; an artist, a friend, a lifetime learner.

I BELIEVE…
in the importance of rediscovering our roles as active stewards of positive change in our environments. We can support a more connected world through working collectively to build responsible relationships of care and awareness with all living beings. That starts with getting outside and getting curious about who is around us!

BIO
Phoebe joined the PDC team as a stewardship field technician in March of 2026. Phoebe installs, supports, and maintains habitat restoration projects of PDC, and deeply enjoys caring for and supporting life for grassland species that are so vital to our local ecosystem’s resilience.

Phoebe graduated from the University of Virginia School of Architecture in 2023, and has spent the past few years stewarding land in the semi-arid pine ecosystems of Colorado while building skills in ecology and food cultivation. Phoebe is an ecological illustrator, and their artwork seeks to embody the spirit of landscapes while being deeply informed by their role as a caretaker of land. They are excited to continue building restoration skills in Virginia, where they grew up.
