Ant Walk
August 11, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Levi Mitchell has been studying ants as a hobby myrmecologist for over 6 years. Bugs have been a passion of his for as long as he could walk, but witnessing a nuptial flight really focused his attention on this one group of highly social insects. Join Levi on a walk through the woods to discover the world of ants. We will learn about ant ecology, identification, ant keeping and how to collect specimens for science.
